The world’s greatest historic motor race meeting, and the only sporting event of its kind to be staged entirely in a period theme. More than just an unrivaled weekend of historic racing, it is a whimsical step back in time; an immersive celebration of a less disposable world, where “make do and mend” was a way of life rather than a casual slogan.

The Revival Meeting, since 1998 a magical step back in time that each September recreates and celebrates the circuit’s golden age of racing between the late 1940s and mid-1960s, all played out in front of a period, movie-set backdrop. Expect to see awesome touring car battles, epic classic Formula 1 duels, two-wheeled action and the mighty big-banger GTs battling for the RAC TT.

It’s an unabashed celebration of flat-out wheel-to-wheel racing, around the sweeps and curves of this classic circuit, which remains unchanged since its heyday. The inaugural Revival opened on 18 September 1998, when the Earl of March drove around the circuit in the Bristol 400 in which his grandfather, the 9th Duke of Richmond, opened the track 50 years before. It’s now the world’s most celebrated historic motor racing event, with race fans soaking up the unique atmosphere in period costume.

G&T Executive provides an executive chauffeur taxi service to the Goodwood Revival.
